Jesus saved me and my marriage.  I had a hole or emptiness in me that I could not fill no matter how hard I tried.  And believe me, I tried to fill it with many things but no matter what I tried I was left feeling lonely, empty and needing more.  It was like being on a roller coaster ride with ups and downs because I would try to fill the hole or emptiness by chasing happiness or love, only to be left feeling unloved, lonely, empty and at times, depressed.  Because of this need I just could not get filled.  And I was on my way to my second divorce.  My marriage was over and I was once again chasing love and happiness.  After Christmas and New Years 2009 and in the first week of January 2010, my life changed. 

Someone introduced me to a powerful believer who knew how to help people get healed and delivered by God, and being that I was just sick and tired of being sick and tired, I met with her.  Within about 5 minutes, demons were being cast out of me and I was saved.  That same week, I was introduced to Houston Faith Church and before I knew it, I was Holy Spirit filled and speaking in tongues.  Halleluia! And I've been praying in tongues more and more ever since!

The next transformation was about a week later when the Holy Spirit spoke to me and asked me to call my wife, and ask her if she wanted to get saved.  I fought Him and did not want to call her, because for me the marriage was over and I did not want to go back.  But He, the Holy Spirit (or Jesus), kept insisting.  This went on for a few minutes and I finally gave in and called her. I told her how I got saved and about the entire experience and asked if she would like to get saved and try to save our marriage.  She said, "yes," and we have been attending Houston Faith Church every Sunday since.  Did I forget to mention, my marriage is saved and Jesus filled the empty spot in me. Alleluia and Amen!  Our lives continue to be transformed, and we are still rapidly growing spiritually and in our knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. 

I can also say this:  God is calling you and reaching His hand out to you. You only have to take his hand and allow Him to lead you.  Believe me, there is nothing better in this life, and I know.
