“I work at a homeless shelter.  A 9-month old baby girl, whose family were overnight guests at the shelter, had been diagnosed with a life threatening condition that caused her heart to beat abnormally fast.  It could be corrected with surgery, but there was only a 10% chance of survival.  The mother was frantic and afraid.  No matter which decision she made, she could lose her baby.  Two days before the scheduled surgery, I was playing with the baby as her mother held her.  I felt led by the Holy Spirit to lay my hand on her chest and pray for her healing.  As I felt God's power release from me into her, she stopped laughing and smiling, and closed her eyes and laid her head on her mother's shoulder in a peaceful rest.  The next day, the doctors had her tested for the previously diagnosed condition and found that her heart was beating normally and everything looked fine.  She no longer needed surgery!!  The mom cried tears of joy. She knew that God had healed her baby and she wanted to start living her life the way God wanted her to live.  Praise the Lord, He is glorified!”
